On Friday, 16 January 2026, NextGen iQ Academy brought together one of the most diverse and purposeful audiences ever assembled around the theme of global accounting careers in India. The Global Accounting Careers Conference 2026 — a landmark virtual event powered by NextGen iQ Academy — united Class 12 students, commerce graduates, working professionals, KPO employers and parents for an afternoon of expert-led insight, honest conversation and actionable career guidance.

The conference was not a promotional event. It was a community service — a direct answer to the question that thousands of Indian commerce students and accounting professionals are asking right now: “How do I build a globally relevant accounting career, from India, without waiting a decade to get there?”

The answer, delivered by eight industry leaders across two hours, was both clear and compelling.

The Vision That Started It All

The conference opened at 3:00 PM IST with a warm welcome from Pragya Sharma, Host of the Global Accounting Careers Conference 2026, who set the agenda, introduced NextGen iQ Academy and outlined exactly what attendees could expect from the session ahead.

At 3:10 PM, the floor opened to the event’s most anticipated moment — the Keynote Address by CA Nick Bhalla, CEO of NextGen Group and Founder of NextGen iQ Academy. With over 20 years of experience building and operating accounting practices in Australia, Nick shared his personal vision for what NextGen iQ Academy means for Indian commerce students and professionals — and why he believes the opportunity in front of them is unlike anything that has existed before.

“Indian commerce graduates are talented, hardworking and capable of performing at the highest levels of the Australian accounting industry. What has been missing is not ability — it has been access. Access to the right training, the right connections and the right roadmap.”

Industry Leaders. One Shared Vision for Change.

The Global Accounting Careers Conference 2026 featured a distinguished panel of eight speakers — spanning Australia and India, practice and education, accounting and career development — united by a shared commitment to opening global doors for Indian talent.
